I've nicknamed Candidreams: I Remember the Beginning my “discovery” book. I find myself in a spiritually dark and desolate place. I revisit my childhood which had been so full of hopes and dreams to recall the major events that made me so vulnerable to the call of anger and despair.

In Role Reversal: Turn Pain Into Power, I begin to face the issues I discovered in Candidreams. I write about being in the fire, being strengthened by surviving the fire and ultimately coming out of it with my weapon, my ink pen, in my hand. I've nicknamed this book my "recovery" book.
